When I’m looking for shoes, I always look for something very minimal and neutral so I can easily wear it with any outfit. VIVAIA offers products that do just that and more!
I discovered VIVAIA through some of my content creator friends who’ve work with the brand! So when Vivaia wanted to collaborate with me on a gifted basis, I thought I’d give their products a try. I also love working with brands who work towards slow and sustainable fashion!
VIVAIA has gifted me shoes in exchange for a blog post featuring their products. In this blog post I’ll be sharing with you details about the brand, the pro’s and con’s of their products and my honest review.
ABOUT VIVAIA
Before I dive into the pros and cons of this brand, I want to share details about the brand.
VIVAIA is a shoe brand that offers stylish and eco-friendly products without breaking the bank. They do so by creating sustainable products out of long-lasting materials like plastic water bottles and even acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (the plastic material that make up legos). They not only offer sustainable shoes, but they also offer a variety of bags, clothing, face masks and scarves. Even their packaging boxes are made of 100% recycled cardboard. VIVAIA’s target audience are women who love chic, minimal and trendy fashion products. VIVAIA does offer some products (like sneakers) for men but mainly targets women. Because the brands main mission is to provide eco-friendly products, it would also attract those who support sustainable fashion and favor eco-friendly products.
PRICING
Their shoes cost anywhere from $69-$129 while their accessories cost anywhere from $9.99-$119. This all depends on which products you’re looking at.
SHIPPING
As for delivery, my order only took 4 days to get delivered to my house. Their page states that shipping takes about 6-13 days for U.S. orders. Sometimes when brands ship products out to content creators, they try to ship items out to them faster using a faster delivery service. However, I’m not sure if that was the case with my order or not.
PROS AND CONS OF VIVAIA
Now it’s time to share the pros and cons of VIVAIA’s products!
PROS
Breathable
Comfortable sole
Flexible (holds to your foot)
Easy to wash or clean
Their flats are machine washable (making it even easier to clean)
Variety of colors and styles of shoes to choose from
CONS
Needs frequent care or maintenance to keep product clean
Not good to wear in wet weather conditions
Takes some time for wide feet to adapt to shoes but it’ll fit more comfortably once you break them in
The shoe rubs at the back of my foot making it a little uncomfortable to walk at times
Not great for long wear or comfortable enough to wear all day
Overall, I love VIVAIA’s shoes. Their products are so stylish, affordable, sustainable, and goes really well with my wardrobe. I would recommend VIVAIA to anyone! I’m looking forward to trying out their other products and know I’ll be wearing these products for a long time!
