If you follow me on Instagram you may well have seen the gorgeous blue ‘Jade’ Vivaia heeled sandals I was recently gifted. I purposely held this pair back for some blog post only content because, to be honest, I’m not a sensible footwear kinda girl, but their being so comfy and chic at the same time… as well as made (partially) from recycled plastic bottles, seemed like something to shout about.
So here they are in all their plaid, pointed-toe glory – the Della (in Plaid Black) sandals.
Coming in almost-wholly recycled, recyclable packaging, these shoes are potentially a game-changer for me. I can almost never find shoes that don’t hurt my feet… I come out of every summer with a blister or two from sandals and every winter with bruises from boots, but the flexibility and softness of the recycled plastic knit upper of the shoe really cushions my feet and I have to say, this model especially, I am genuinely excited to wear everyday.
With a small angled heel and cute pointed toe, they give off chic back-to-the-office vibes… but paired with white jeans and a cute black top, they’re perfect for going out in too!
Can I just talk about the fact they’re slingbacks though! The very height of comfort (and for someone whose just finished binge-watching a certain late-90s/early-naughties vampire slaying classic tv show, they’re exactly what I want to be wearing!)
et voila… très chic!
