VIVAIA is a beautiful brand I recently discovered. In all disclosure, they offered to send me a pair of their kitten heels to try out. The moment I got them, I loved them. They’re actually comfortable and super duper adorable! I couldn’t believe they were made of 6 recycled bottles!
I am typically a size US 6 and so I purchased these shoes in that size. The navy pair fits perfectly, but the smoke pair fits a little snug. I could have taken the next size up in the smoke-colored pair. The first thing I noticed when putting the shoes on, and wearing them around the house is how comfortable they are.
Since I made the decision to make my wardrobe more sustainable a lot has changed. I now own less items and see my wardrobe as an exclusive place. Only the items that completely fit my style, colour pallet and sustainability values deserve a place.
The rain has been pouring on and off for the better part of the last two weeks, so i finally accepted defeat and took these photos indoors. i picked this little corner in our room, which is a newly-added reading nook of sorts.
Now while I’m certainly no angel, if I see a brand innovating and thinking out of the box to help us become a little more eco-conscious, I’m all for it and that’s exactly what I discovered with VIVAIA.
