Don’t just dream about your goals and objectives - take steps to realize them."Beyond her professional life, Jacqueline has a deep love for the arts, particularly musical theater. As a former music teacher, soloist, and actor, she founded an inner-city arts program to bring creativity and inspiration to her community, and spend a lot of time attending live theatre productions. She also volunteers with the Memory Project - sponsored by Historica Canada, speaking on political and military stories.

When asked what advice she'd give her younger self, Jacqueline’s answer reflects her trademark blend of warmth and grit:

If she could send a postcard to her younger self from 20 years ago, Jacqueline would remind herself to breathe, listen more, and lean into those who support, guide, and challenge you to be your better self. Her message is one of self-confidence and resilience: "Not everyone is going to like you, and you don't need to like everyone. Have confidence in yourself - you’re smart, articulate, and have a good heart. When you experience setbacks, analyze them, strategize, learn and grow from them, knowing that you can and will leave a legacy."

Q3: What type of shoes do you prefer for your daily life, and what challenges do you face when choosing them?

A: I’m definitely a fan of comfortable yet stylish boots and booties. Even in summer, I prefer open-toed booties with a bit of height.The biggest challenge is finding stylish footwear that can be worn from inside to outside in winter or inclement weather, provide safe footing, and be of a fabric that can withstand salt, mud, and water while still looking brand new.
